Naveen’s family satisfied with investigation; action taken swiftly, says K Sivankutty

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister V Sivankutty reiterated that the Left and the government are with the family of Naveen Babu. He said Naveen's family are satisfied with the investigation and said that he had visited the family of the ADM yesterday.

‘The government acted swiftly Action will be taken as soon as they get the inquiry report. A case has been registered against the former district panchayat president. Her resignation was also demanded. Other things will be decided after getting the report, he said.

Apart from Minister Sivankutty, CPM state secretary M V Govindan had also visited the ADM’s house in Malayalapuzha to console the family. Govindan also told them that the party is with them.

Govindan had said that the party is with the family of the late ADM in all respects then and now. Whether it is the party in Kannur or in Pathanamthitta, the party is the same. The party has only one stand. What I have said now is the last word and just ignore what the others say. Govindan clarified that what he said as the party secretary, is the last word.

Meantime, it has been four days since Divya was arraigned in the case. However, she has not been questioned so far.
