Nikhil Thomas charged with forgery and fraud; Kalinga University confirms that certificate is fake

RAIPUR: Kayamkulam police registered a case against former SFI leader Nikhil Thomas who got admission to M.com by producing a fake certificate. A case has been registered on charges of forgery and fraud. As part of the investigation, the authorities told Kayamkulam police that Nikhil's degree certificate was fake. The police had showed Nikhil's certificates to the authorities after reaching the university. The university stated that the certificates were fake and no such student had studied in Kalinga.

Kayamkulam police who came to Kalinga University met the registrar and VC and sought information. The police reached Kalinga based on the preliminary information provided by Kayamkulam MSM college officials. Police will take statements from the accused teachers apart from the college principal.

At the same time, the SFI leadership announced that Nikhil has been expelled from the primary membership. Nikhil Thomas did something that should never be done by an SFI worker. Through a statement, the SFI leadership pointed out that Nikhil had misled the organization.
