'No friends at school': Plus One student from Neyyattinkara commits suicide

NEYYATTINKARA: A Plus One student in Neyyattinkara, Thiruvananthapuram, committed suicide. The deceased is Pratibha, a native of Ooruttukala. She is a student of Neyyattinkara GHSS.

Pratibha's mother Preetha said that her daughter had said that she did not want to go to school as she did not have any friends at school. The child did not come to school for three days in a row. Preetha clarified that she came to know about this when the teachers called her. Pratibha studied at Nellimoodu School till class 10. The family says that she was admitted to Neyyattinkara School based on her interest. The teachers said that no one isolated Pratibha at school.
