Noose around Rahul tightens; KPCC leadership hands over woman’s complaint to police chief

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The KPCC leadership has handed over the fresh sexual abuse complaint against Rahul Mamkootathil MLA to the police chief. KPCC chief Sunny Joseph told media that a decision will be taken after consulting with the party. The leadership has informed the woman that her complaint has been handed over to the police chief.

The 23-year-old woman filed a complaint to Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi and Sunny Joseph via email. The woman in her complaint said that she was taken to a hotel room and brutally abused. The woman, who lives in Bengaluru, filed the complaint. However, the woman has informed that she is not ready to take any legal action.

The complaint said that he abused her on the pretext of marriage and ended the relationship. She said that she was brutally attacked in the room and that he inflicted injuries all over her body and was subjected to brutal physical and mental torture. The woman said Rahul coerced her to get pregnant. The woman said that it was Fenni Nainan who took her to the homestay and he brought her back.

Her complaint said that she met him in 2023. Chatting was through telegram chat. He had come home with his relatives to talk about marriage. She said that when she came home from Bengaluru, he had come to meet her. He came with his friend. He then took me in his car to the homestay and abused me brutally. He later told me that he is not interested in marrying her now. He continued chatting with me. He repeatedly coerced me to get pregnant. Even after that, he tried to abuse me several times.
