Party has proper understanding of the matter, let EP examine if there was political conspiracy: MV Govindan

KANNUR: CPM state secretary has responded to the controversy surrounding the autobiography of former LDF convener EP Jayarajan. Speaking to the media in Kannur, Govindan said that the controversy will not affect the by-elections in the state.

"I saw what Jayarajan said. He responded to the matter with great indignation. He said that some people are spreading false propaganda about him. If Jayarajan said there is a political conspiracy, let him examine it. The party has a proper understanding of the matter. If Jayarajan says that he has not written the book, what more is there to question? The party is moving forward in unity. The media is trying to put the party on the defensive by creating such news," Govindan said.

"People need not inform the party about writing a book. However, they should consult the party before publishing it. Jayarajan said that he would handle the matter legally. The conspiracy against the party can be discussed," Govindan added.
