Party workers should visit every household and debunk false claims: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan

KANNUR: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that political opponents are spreading lies against the LDF. Speaking at the Dharmadom constituency LDF convention at Mambaram, the Chief Minister said that leaders of the opposition parties are going door to door with misleading claims. He urged party workers to visit every household and debunk the false claims.

"Opponents have abandoned honesty and fairness. They are not able to oppose the LDF in a straightforward manner. The opposition is working in a way that goes beyond even the propaganda methods of Joseph Goebbels. The nativity card given by Kerala cannot be opposed. It reflects that I am a son of Kerala. Even this is not accepted by the Sangh Parivar. As a candidate, it is difficult to meet everyone personally. I hope people will understand this limitation. I have to reach every part of the state. Party workers should take up the campaign keeping this limitation in mind,” Pinarayi said.

CPM state secretary M V Govindan also attended the convention. During the convention, inmates of Pathanapuram Gandhi Bhavan handed over money to the Chief Minister to cover the deposit required for filing his nomination papers.
