THRISSUR: Banned currency notes were found in the hundis of Guruvayur Temple. The banned notes were found in the hundis when opened to count the money received in February A total of 66 banned notes worth Rs 71,500 were found. Of these, 33 are Rs 500 notes. Of the remaining 33, 22 are Rs 2,000 notes and 11 of Rs 11,000 notes. Banned notes were found in the hundis in the same quantity in all the previous months. It is not clear who is depositing the banned notes in the Guruvayur temple hundis.
