THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Vlogger Mukesh Nair has claimed that a group of vloggers were behind the conspiracy that led to the POCSO case filed against him. He stated that he knows exactly who plotted against him. Mukesh, who is the CEO of a company and a businessman, said that his entry into brand promotions and similar fields was completely unintentional. He responded to the case through a video on Instagram.

He mentioned that he has conducted over a thousand inaugurations and brand promotions, including for international brands. Mukesh alleged that many vloggers are attacking and targeting him, but that he is not bothered by it. He claimed that the real reason behind the case is a monetary transaction. He stated that he will face the case legally and has already handed over all evidence to his lawyer.

However, since the complainant is only 16 years old, police clarified that even if permission had been obtained to shoot a reel, it would still be considered an offence.

Mukesh's lawyer, Adv. Afsal Khan, told Kerala Kaumudi Online that the case against his client is fabricated. He said the case is scheduled to be heard on the 28th of this month and that all evidence will be submitted to the court. The lawyer emphasised that Mukesh was at the Kovalam shoot only as an actor and that all footage from that day will be handed over to the court. Since the matter is under judicial consideration, he declined to comment further.

The POCSO case against Mukesh Nair alleges that he forced an underage girl to pose semi-nude for photographs and shared the content on social media. The girl’s parents filed a complaint against Mukesh at the Kovalam police station. The reel in question was reportedly filmed at a resort in Kovalam about one and a half months ago, with Mukesh participating as an actor. The underage girl was also brought to the location.

It is alleged that Mukesh took semi-nude photographs of the girl without her consent. During the shoot, he is also accused of touching the girl inappropriately without permission. The complaint states that this caused her emotional and psychological distress.

Police confirmed that a POCSO case has been registered against Mukesh and an investigation to locate the accused is underway. They have intensified the probe and visited Mukesh's residence, but he remains untraceable, with his phone switched off.

Mukesh has previously been involved in multiple cases in the Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam ranges for creating videos that allegedly promote alcohol consumption. Several such videos have been shared on his Instagram page, including promotional content filmed in collaboration with bar owners.
