THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The India Meteorological Department has predicted a possibility of rain and strong winds with a speed of up to 40 kmph in all districts of Kerala in the next three hours. Yellow alert has been issued for Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur and Kasaragod today. The IMD has banned fishing on the Kerala- Karnataka - Lakshadweep coasts till July 25. Fishermen and coastal residents are advised to be vigilant as there is a possibility of sea attacks.
Alert issued
