THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Rains are bringing temporary relief to the scorching heat in the state. The forecast says that there is a possibility of rain in two districts in the coming hours and the entire state of Kerala in the coming days. The Indian Meteorological Department has informed that there is a possibility of moderate rain with thundershowers at isolated places in Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam districts in the next three hours. A yellow alert has also been issued in three districts tomorrow. The yellow alert has been issued in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam and Pathanamthitta districts. The possibility of isolated heavy rain is predicted.

Fishermen warned
IMD has informed that there is no restriction on fishing along the Kerala, Karnataka and Lakshadweep coasts today (28/02/2025). IMD has clarified that fishing should not be allowed along the southern Kerala coast on 01/03/2025 and fishing should not be allowed in the Lakshadweep area on 01/03/2025 & 02/03/2025.
