'Return seized vehicles’: Dulquer Salmaan moves high court against customs

KOCHI: Actor Dulquer Salmaan has filed a plea in the Kerala High Court, claiming that the action of the customs seizing his vehicles in the name of ‘Operation Numkhor’ was illegal. He approached the court against the Kochi Customs Commissioner. The actor has demanded to return the vehicles seized. Dulquer's house was raided in connection with the Bhutan vehicle smuggling case and two of his vehicles were seized. The actor approached the court in this incident. Since there were suspicions about more vehicles, the customs had issued a notice.

the customs is illegal. Two old vehicles, including a Land Rover from Dulquer's garage, were seized. The actor informed that the vehicles were purchased legally. Dulquer filed the plea by submitting the documents of his vehicles related to the case. With this, this is the first case in the state where legal action has been initiated against the customs following a vehicle smuggling case. The court will take a decision after examining the documents submitted by Dulquer and the findings of customs.
