
KOLLAM: The scientific test report, believed to be crucial in the Sabarimala gold theft case, was handed over to the Special Investigation Team on Saturday. The Kollam Vigilance Court accepted the test report conducted by the Vikram Sarabhai Space Center. This is the test result of 15 samples, such as the Dwarapalaka sculpture and the door frames of the sanctum sanctorum in Sabarimala. The scientific test results were submitted to the Kollam Vigilance Court in a sealed envelope from the VSSC yesterday.
Further steps will be taken after examining this report in detail. This scientific investigation report will also be included in the investigation progress report to be submitted to the High Court on the 19th. The examination was conducted to determine whether the gold layers have been replaced, and the total amount of gold now in the layers of frames in Sabarimala.
Meanwhile, former Devaswom Board member KP Shankaradas, who is on remand at a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram, will be shifted to Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital today. The jail doctor had earlier given a report that Shankaradas could be shifted from the private hospital to Thiruvananthapuram Medical College.
