Sabarimala gold theft: PS Prasanth to be questioned

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) will question former Travancore Devaswom Board president PS Prasanth and other board members in connection with the Sabarimala gold theft case. During Prasanth’s tenure, the Dwarapalaka metal panels were taken to Smart Creations in Chennai for gold plating. The High Court had earlier criticised this matter. The questioning will focus on these issues.

Meanwhile, the SIT has questioned Smart Creations CEO Pankaj Bhandari and two employees. They will be called again for further questioning.
