Security lapse at Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple; policeman accidentally fires gun

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A security lapse has been reported inside the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple after a police officer accidentally fired his weapon while cleaning it. The incident occurred in the temple’s arms storage room, where a commando officer was engaged in routine maintenance of his firearm. Fortunately, the bullet struck the floor, avoiding any injuries or further complications. The Deputy Commandant responsible for temple security has launched an investigation into the matter.
