KOCHI: A shocking allegation surfaced against the complainant who alleged sexual misconduct from actors including Mukesh and Jayasurya of the Malayalam film industry. A Muvattupuzha native woman said that the actress took her to Chennai on the pretext of a movie audition and later exhibited her to Tamil film crew members. She said that the crew members touched her inappropriately and she had to run away from the room.
“I was just 16 at the time of the incident and the world should know more about the actress who now acts in a holier-than-thou attitude.”
The woman complained to the Chief Minister, State Police Chief and Tamil Nadu DGP about the ordeal.
Meanwhile, the actress called the allegations fake and said the complaint was revenge for not providing financial help despite their many requests. The actress informed the media that she would move legally against the complainant.
“In 2024, during my 10th standard vacation, the actress took me to Chennai on the pretext of a movie audition. There were five or six men in the group. The actress insisted on cooperating with them. She even got angry when I resisted. I cried and made big noise and escaped the place. She even revealed to me bringing several such girls to do auditions. She asked me to keep a blind eye on the happenings to acclaim fame in the industry.
My father passed away long back and my mother was afraid to complain. And now, I saw the actress complaining about other actors and carefully creating a pious image for herself. I decided to complain, mostly to bring out her real face. She is part of a sex racket within the industry.” said the complainant.
The investigation team has started the preliminary data collection. It is suggested that a case may be filed against the actress. A decision in this regard will be taken after the meeting of the special committee.
