Five venomous snakes found in bed of small children and nearby toilet in Kuttiady

KOZHIKODE: Highly venomous snakes were found in the bed, pillow and nearby toilet where small children were sleeping. The incident happened at the house of Kapummal Ramesh in Kuttiyadi. The snakes were of the Common Krait (Shankhuvarayan) species.

Two small children were sleeping in the room. The family members found the snake in the area where the pillow was placed on the bed. Soon after this, the snake was found again in the adjacent room. When they went to the bathroom, they found a Shankhuvarayan snake from there. With this, a search was conducted in the house with the help of the neighbors. In the meantime, a snake was found in another nearby room. A total of five snakes were found. This is a house with painted walls and beautifully tiled floors. Still, the family members are surprised to see poisonous snakes.
