Shine Tom in Pollachi? Vincy's family apprehensive of police intervention

KOCHI: The search is on for actor Shine Tom Chacko, who escaped from a hotel in Kochi the other day. It is reported that the actor is currently staying at a resort in Pollachi. The actor, who escaped by jumping from the third floor of a hotel in Kaloor on Wednesday night following a lightning inspection from the DANSAF team, checked into another hotel in the city after travelling on an unknown person's bike. By morning, Shine left the hotel.

The dramatic development occurred after actress Vincy Aloysius filed a complaint with the Kerala Film Chamber of Commerce alleging Shine misbehaved with her while on a film set. During the shoot in Edappal, Shine allegedly used drugs, passed lewd comments and even tried to barge into the room of the actress.

The actress also alleged witnessing a white powder popping out from Shine’s mouth during the rehearsal session. Meanwhile, Excise is seeking permission from Vincy's family to record her statement. VIncy’s father told Excise that the family wish to resolve the dispute on its own and is least considering filing an official complaint with police.
