THRISSUR: The funeral of C.P. Chacko, who died in a road accident in Salem, will be held at the Our Lady Of Mount Carmel Church Cemetery in Mundur at 10:30 am today.

Chacko's body was taken from the Jubilee Mission Hospital morgue in Thrissur to his residence in Mundur at 4:30 pm yesterday and was kept for public homage.
Actor Shine Tom Chacko's father C.P. Chacko was killed in an accident that occurred on the Salem-Bangalore highway at Dharmapuri Hogenakkal at 5:30 am on Friday. When the goods lorry travelling in front suddenly changed track, it lost control and hit the back of the Kia Carnival car in which Shine and his family were travelling. At this time, Shine, his father Chacko and mother Maria were in the back seat and Shine's brother Joe John Chacko was in the seat on the left side of the driver. Shine's assistant Aneesh was driving the car.
