PALAKKAD: Rahul Mamkootathil MLA ignored the questions related to the audio recording released by a private channel on Monday. Rahul said he would cooperate with any investigation and remarked that the audio had nothing new but the same narrative that has been ongoing for the past three months.

Rahul clarified that he will prove his innocence in court when the time comes. Despite this, Rahul did not answer any questions about the audio recording.

“As per the ethics involved in this job, it is mandatory to ask me and verify facts before putting something on air claiming to be an audio recording of mine. The joke is that you are asking me to comment after publishing this and creating a sensation. I will cooperate with any kind of investigation. As I said before, at a certain stage, I will talk about the case, and it has not arrived yet. I have not done anything against any law of this country. In that case, I have the right to go ahead legally," Rahul said.
