THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition leader VD Satheesan alleged serious lapse from the Special Investigation Team (SIT) in the Sabarimala Gold theft case. The opposition leader’s vehement response came over the bail granted to former administrative officer Murari Babu.

V D SATHEESAN:

“Murari Babu got bail due to the lapse of the Special Investigation Team. The court granted bail because the charge sheet was not filed against him within 90 days. The gold lost in Sabarimala has not been fully recovered. The High Court and the Supreme Court have monitored the case with great effort. However, if the culprits are released, it won’t be long before they destroy the evidence.

Payannur fund misappropriation:

The party was informed about this, but no action followed. The party itself tried to investigate the case and settle it. This is also a serious criminal offence. They boast of having their own court, making it easy to escape from any fraudulent crime committed. Everything is decided in the CPM party court. CPM is a party that collects funds in the name of martyrs and then siphons them.

There is no dearth of idiocy blabbered by Ministers inside the assembly. They even demanded that Sonia Gandhi be arrested and her house raided in the Sabarimala gold theft case. It is such a shame”
