Six-year-old boy dies after being hit by school bus; accident occurred in front of mother

PALAKKAD: In a tragic incident, a six-year-old boy died after being hit by a school bus. The deceased has been identified as Aarav, the son of Palakkad Pattambi native Krishnakumar. He was a Class 2 student of Vadanamkurissi school.

The accident took place in front of the child's mother. Aarav had just come back from school and was running ahead after letting go of his mother's hand when he was struck by another school bus that came from behind. The seriously injured child was immediately admitted to the hospital, but he passed away this morning while undergoing treatment.
