KOLLAM: The forensic team has concluded that the skeleton found inside a suitcase on the premises of a church in Kollam was used for medical studies. The skeleton was found near the cemetery of the Sarada Mutt CSI Church.
The suitcase was found buried in the soil while digging a hole to lay a pipe near the church cemetery. The suitcase was first seen by the church staff. They found the skeleton wrapped in a plastic cover when they opened the suitcase and examined it. The police were informed after this. The police reached the spot and conducted an investigation. The skeleton was in a state of decomposition. The forensic team then reached the spot and conducted an analysis.
The initial conclusion is that the skeleton may have been used for medical studies. Forensic examination found that the letter H was written on the hip bone and the letter O on the leg bone. The parts of the spine were tied together with red rope. Scissors and chalk used in the hospital were recovered from the suitcase.
