Student dies after falling into well while going to watch World Cup football match

THENJIPALAM: A student died after accidentally falling into a well while going to watch a World Cup football match. The deceased is Nadir (17), a second year higher secondary student of Peruvallur Kadappadi Najath Dawa College. He is the son of Hamsakoya, of Kannampilakkal Parampil and Nafeesa, natives of Mavoor in Kozhikode. The incident happened on Saturday midnight. The boy fell into a well in Chalippadam while going to watch a game from the college hostel in Ungungal.

It is assumed that he fell into the well while moving away from dogs.

The body was brought out by the fire force unit and local people who came from Meenchantah. He was taken to Kozhikode Medical College where his death was confirmed.
