Suspicious death of eight-year-old, found hanging from kitchen window

KALPATTA: An eight-year-old boy died under mysterious circumstances in Meppadi, Wayanad. Babilesh, the son of Sunitha and Vinod, residents of Chempothara Colony in Meppadi, was found hanging from the kitchen window around 11 a.m. He was immediately taken to Kalpatta Government Hospital but died.

As the death appeared suspicious, the body was transferred to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital for post-mortem examination. According to reports, the father scolded the boy for bathing in the pond with other children. Shortly after this, the boy was discovered hanging.
