Swift Bus rams into people picking mangoes, three injured, one critical

KOZHIKODE: A KSRTC Swift bus rammed on to people who were picking mangoes that had fallen on the road. The incident happened at around 5 am Tuesday at Thamarassery in Kozhikode. The accident took place on National Highway 766 at Ambayathode in Thamarassery. Three sustained injuries when the bus hit them. One of them is in a critical condition.

The KSRTC Swift Deluxe bus going from Bengaluru to Kozhikode met with the accident. A branch of a mango tree had fallen on the road. The bus rammed onto the people while they were picking mangoes. The injured are Gafoor (53) of Ambayathode Aramukku, Bibish (40) of Perumanna in Kozhikode and Sathish Kumar of Edavannappara.
