Threatened with sexual abuse accusation, followed by social media post; 'actress and lawyer blackmailed me,' says Balachandra Menon

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Actor-director Balachandra Menon said that an actress and a lawyer from Aluva have blackmailed him. Balachandra Menon had lodged a complaint with the state police chief and the chief minister against the actress and her lawyer. He said that the lawyer called and threatened him over the phone before making the allegations.

"The lawyer had threatened that three sexual allegations would soon come against me. The actress posted against me on social media the next day," Balachandra Menon said in the complaint. He added that he received a call on his wife's number on September 13. He is a victim of the machinations of perverted money-seekers. The actor said that he has lodged a complaint attaching the phone details seeking a probe.
