THRISSUR: Three people were stabbed following an altercation over honking amid traffic in Peramangalam, Thrissur. Mundur native Bineesh (46), his son Abhinav (19) and friend Abhijith (29) were stabbed in the incident. Krishna Kishore, a native of Kechery, an employee of a vegetable shop in Mundur, attacked the three. The accused then fled the scene.

The three, including the man, his son and another friend, were travelling on two bikes. They were returning home after playing badminton. Krishna Kishore was perturbed after Abhinav honked twice from behind. Kishore later overtook them in his bullet and beckoned them to stop the vehicle. An argument ensued between them, during which Krishna Kishore took out a knife and stabbed Abhinav, his father Bineesh and Abhijith.

Despite being stabbed, the three tried to stop Kishore, who tried to escape from the scene. However, they couldn’t stop Kishore from escaping in a car that belonged to his friend. As per the police report, he has already crossed Tamil Nadu. The search for the accused has been extended to Tamil Nadu as well.

Krishna Kishore is being investigated for his criminal background. His father's house is a native of Chavakkad, and his mother's house is in Kottayam. Krishna Kishore was living in a rented house in Kechery. The police have taken into custody the friend who helped him escape.
