Three multinational companies launch operations in Kerala, showcasing success of state's industrial policy, Minister says

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The fact that three important companies started operating in Kerala in the month of May alone is a success of the industrial policy of the state, Minister P Rajiv informed.

Italy-based Dynimated, Germany-based D-Space and Norway-based Kongsberg started operations in Kerala in May. Dynimated is an innovative initiative that combines technology, art and innovation to enable massive change in fields such as holographic reality, visual communication to rival Hollywood films, design and animation and spatial design. D-Space Technologies, the world's leading company in the field of automation and space has set up its first software development center in Asia in Kerala. World-class automobile manufacturers such as Porsche, BMW, Audi, Volvo and Jaguar are among the customers of D-Space. Kongsberg is one of the world-class companies in the maritime sector with units in 33 countries, the minister said in a Facebook post.

The success of our industrial policy is further proven by three important companies entering Kerala in the month of May alone. With units in 33 countries, Kongsberg is one of the world-class companies in the maritime sector. The company employs more than 6,000 workers across 117 units and already has contracts with 33,000 vessels. Such an important company has started operations in our state, seeing Kochi as a maritime industry destination. The company has also announced at the opening stage that it will soon expand in Kochi, an emerging city in the field of shipbuilding and repair.
