Thrissur Collectorate receives message of bomb threat in Mullaperiyar dam

IDUKKI: A bomb threat in Mullaperiyar dam. The message of the bomb threat was received via email at the Thrissur Collectorate. Following the message, the police and the bomb squad examined the dam. The message is reported to be hoax.

In the meanwhile, the Supreme Court issued a notice on the plea demanding to decommission the Mulleperiyar dam. The plea was filed by the organisation Save Kerala Brigade. The apex court sent notice to states seeking a reply on the issue.
