Thrissur Pooram disruption: Govt issues order for three-tier probe, DGP to investigate allegations against Ajith Kumar

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state government has issued an order for a three-tier probe into the allegations related to the Thrissur Pooram disruption. DGP Darvesh Saheb will investigate the serious allegations against ADGP MR Ajith Kumar. The DGP has been entrusted with deciding who should be included in the investigation teams.

The Crime Branch chief will investigate the conspiracy in the Pooram disruption. The Intelligence ADGP will investigate whether there was any lapse on the part of other departments. The Home Secretary issued the order for the three-tier probe based on the decision taken in the cabinet meeting.

Meanwhile, the DGP's investigation report on complaints against MR Ajith Kumar has been submitted to the Home Secretary. The report allegedly contains several findings against Ajith Kumar. The DGP will meet the Chief Minister in person and convey the findings of the report. The report will be crucial in removing Ajith Kumar from law and order duty.
