'Took advantage of my absence, ruined my marriage'; Complainant's husband against Rahul Mamkootathil MLA

PALAKKAD: Yet another complaint reached the chief minister against Palakkad MLA Rahul Mamkootathil. This time, the husband of a complainant, who earlier raised sexual assault allegations against Rahul, came forward against the MLA. A complaint has been filed with the Chief Minister and the DGP in this regard. It is demanded that a case be registered against Rahul under BNS 84. The victim's husband said that Rahul maintained a relationship with his wife despite knowing that she was married, and this led to his marital life falling apart.

The complainant said that Rahul took advantage of his absence to strike a friendship with his wife. Earlier, Rahul said that he only tried to broker peace between the couple and nothing else. The complainant asked that if it was the case, why didn’t Rahul contact him instead of his wife?

While talking to the media, Rahul said that the truth will finally come out in the sexual harassment case filed against him.
