BENGALURU: Two natives of Kerala lost their lives in a tragic road accident at Ramanagara, on the outskirts of Bengaluru. The victims have been identified as 37-year-old Subil P.T., a resident of Vellarikundu in Kasaragod, and 36-year-old Ajith, a native of Wayanad.

The accident occurred while the duo was travelling toward Bengaluru in a pickup van. Preliminary reports suggest that the vehicle veered out of control and crashed into a road divider. Investigating officers suspect that the driver may have fallen asleep behind the wheel, which likely led to the fatal collision. The local police have registered a case and initiated a formal inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

The bodies of the deceased have been moved to a nearby hospital for further procedures. Upon receiving the news, relatives and friends of the victims have departed for Ramanagara. The bodies will be released to the families to be taken back home once the post-mortem and other legal formalities are completed.
