Two-week-old unidentified dead body in deserted field in Perumbavoor

KOCHI: Days-old unidentified body found in Perumbavoor, Kochi. The male body was found in a field near Rohini Rice Mill. The police say that the body is about two weeks old.

The body was noticed by the locals this morning and they informed the police. The preliminary conclusion of the police is that the deceased was a migrant worker. The police are investigating whether the incident was a murder. After the completion of the inquest, the body will be shifted to Kalamasery Medical College Hospital for post-mortem.
