Two-year-old drowns in bucket, dies in Alappuzha

ALAPPUZHA: A two-year-old kid drowned to death in a bucket in Chengannur. The dead is Axton P Thomas, son of Tom and Jincy. He collapsed in the bucket kept in the bathroom Tuesday afternoon. His family did not see him going to the toilet.

They found him lying in the bucket in a search conducted. He was immediately taken to the hospital, but his life could not be saved. The police reached the spot and are investigating. The police’ initial conclusion is that there is nothing unnatural about the death. The body will be handed over to the family after postmortem.
