THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Human Rights Commission has asked the CBSE to consider implementing the benefit of extra time given to children with type 1 diabetes who are appearing for exams in 10th and 12th standard. The commission's chairman, Justice Alexander Thomas, has directed the CBSE Secretary and the Kerala Regional Director.

Recently, this was also applied to vocational higher secondary schools. The proposal is that the same should be implemented in CBSE.
