KANNUR: LDF candidate KK Shailaja is least concerned about the exit poll results and is adamant that Vadakara will remain a bastion of the communist party. The former health minister of Kerala said, 'for the congress to win the seat, a miracle coup should take place', which she stated was a farfetched dream.

“It is not that time to talk about the majority. However, the sectarian politics of UDF during this election was despicable. They even tried to purchase votes. And I’m not a great fan of exit polls as many of these polls have faltered in previous years. LDF is going to gain massive success in Kerala.” said KK Shailaja.

Meanwhile, CPM State Secretary M V Govindan called the people who conducted the exit polls ‘lunatics’. According to CPM's assessment, as big as 12 seats will come to the LDF fold. M V Govindan responded to the media and asked to wait till June 4th to know about the reality of the elections.
