Went for party after marriage; bride elopes with boyfriend on their trip back to husband's house

MALAPPURAM: The woman who got out of her husband's car and eloped with her lover the day after her wedding has been found. The incident took place in Parappanangadi, Malappuram. The woman is a native of Mundiyankavu, Ullanam. The 24-year-old's wedding was last Thursday.

Last Friday, the woman and her husband had attended a party at the woman's house in Ullanam. On their way back to the husband's house after the party, when they reached a private hospital in Putharikkal, the woman stopped the vehicle on the pretext of meeting her friend. She then got out of the vehicle and went with her lover.

On a complaint filed by her husband, the police found the woman from her house in Tanur. The woman was then produced in court. The woman was released with her lover after she informed that she went with her lover at her own free will, said Parappanangadi CI Vinod Valiyattoor.
