Woman engaged dies after scooter hits bus in Kollam, got job in bank recently

KOLLAM: A woman, who got engaged this month, died after her scooter hits a bus at Sasthamcotta in the district. Th dead is Anjana (24) of Thodiyoor. The accident happened on the Kollam-Theni National Highway Tuesday morning at around 10:30 am. She lost control of her scooter after a school bus hit her vehicle and then struck another bus.

The scooter was partially burnt and she died on the spot itself. She was an employee of Karimthottuva Service Cooperative Bank. She joined service after appointed as a clerk last Monday. She got engaged recently and her marriage has been fixed to October 19.
