Aeronautical engineer dies in bike accident

KASARGOD: An engineer died in a bike accident at Manjakkal near Iriyanni in the district. The dead is M Jithesh (23) of Theerthamkara in Bethurpara. He was an aeronautical engineer of Bengaluru Airport. The accident happened when he was going to Bethurpara from Bovikanam on his bike Monday afternoon at 2.30 pm.

The accident happened when Jithesh was trying to overtake an auto near the Manjakkal bus stand. He lost control of his bike, struck the auto and then hit the pole of the bus stand. Jithesh, seriously injured in the accident died on the spot itself.

The tragic incident happened when he was about to return to Bengaluru on Tuesday after celebrating Onam with his family. He is son of A Vijayan and M Shalini. His brother is M Jishnu, a plus one student of Bethurpara GHSS.
