THRISSUR: A woman was found dead inside her house after suffering burn injuries. The deceased has been identified as Sulfath (38), a native of Pazhuvil in Thrissur. The body was found lying in the kitchen of the house. Sulfath was running a tailoring shop in Triprayar. As her husband and daughter had gone to deliver the clothes she had stitched to the shop, there was no one else in the house at the time of the incident.

The incident came to light when a neighbour arrived at the house to collect stitched clothes. As Sulfath did not open the door despite repeated calls, the neighbour informed the relatives. Locals later opened the door and found Sulfath’s body in a completely burnt condition. An empty kerosene bottle was also found nearby.
