Woman lawyer having political links helped Rahul, stay in luxurious villa; leaders too have role 

BENGALURU: Reports say that Rahul Mamkootathil MLA, who was denied anticipatory bail in the rape case, is staying in a luxurious villa. The special investigation team has found that Rahul is being helped by a woman lawyer having political links. Information was obtained that Rahul had stayed in a luxurious villa in Bengaluru for two days. Although the police arrived here, Rahul had escaped hours before with the help of his aides. It is also suspected that someone is leaking the moves of the police.

However, the police suspect that Congress leaders in Karnataka are also involved in arranging accommodation for Rahul, and the police have received information that some real estate industrialists in Bengaluru provided car for Rahul to escape and finding routes for his travel. The police have met and questioned those who provided security. The investigation team has already closed all loopholes for Rahul to escape. Rahul is likely to appear at the police station or court as there is no other option.

Rahul is hiding by changing mobile and vehicles several times. This is a crisis faced by the investigation team. Rahul, who escaped from the police cordon, reached Pollachi in the actress' Polo car and from there went to Coimbatore in another car. Then he reached Bangalore, on the Karnataka-Tamil Nadu border, and hid in a resort there.
