Woman run over by KSRTC bus in front of Secretariat; accident in front of husband

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A woman died after she was fatally knocked down by a KSRTC bus in front of the Secretariat. The accident occurred around 10.15 am today while she was crossing the road with her husband. She has been identified as Geetha (62) of Peyad.

She boarded the KSRTC bus with her husband Pradeep and then got down at the stop in Statue. The accident happened when she was crossing the road in front of the bus. The bus that took forward ran over her. The police arrived immediately and took her to the hospital, but her life could not be saved.
