Woman, son found dead at home in Palakkad

PALAKKAD: A woman and her son were found dead at their home in Vallapuzha, Palakkad. The two has been identified as Mukhila (62) of Cherukode EIappully and her son Nishanth alias Kochu. The two were found hanging last night.

Mukhila was found hanging in the hall and Nishanth in the bedroom. Nishanth were into various businesses for the past ten years, but due to various reasons, none of these flourished. The cool bar he started in Ernakulam was closed ten days ago. The Pattambi police conclude that financial crisis may have been the cause of death.

After the inquest proceedings, the bodies were shifted to the Palakkad District Hospital. They will be handed over to the family after postmortem. Nishanth's elder brother is doing business in Ahmedabad.
