Young biker dies after collision with KSRTC bus in Thiruvananthapuram

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In a tragic incident, a youngster died after his bike rammed into a KSRTC bus in Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday. Anoop Prakash (36), a native of Alappuzha Bharanikavu, died in the accident. The accident happened at 8 am at Muzhutthiriyavatta, Pallipuram. The young man was rushed to the Medical College Hospital but his life could not be saved.

Meanwhile, an ambulance carrying a patient in Kottayam went out of control and crashed into a house. The accident took place at Ponkunnam around 4 am today. The ambulance crashed into the house while taking a critically ill patient from the Mary Queen's Hospital, Kanjirapally 26th mile to the medical college.

The patient in the ambulance later bled to death. The deceased was PK Raju, a native of Parathodu. The ambulance driver and the patient's assistant escaped with minor injuries. The wall of the house was destroyed while the occupants of the house escaped unhurt.
