Youth dies in Ranni after tempo traveller rams into shop

PATHANAMTHITTA: One was killed after a tempo traveller lost control and rammed into a shop. The incident happened at Valiyaparambil Padi in Ranni, Pathanamthitta. The youth dead has been identified as Rajesh Gowda (39) of Telangana and a passenger of the van. 10 in the van sustained injuries. A team who arranged annadhanam for Sabarimala pilgrims in Kanamala met with the accident. They were on a pleasure trip after the temple closed after mandala pooja.

They met with the accident while returning from the trip. The cause of the accident is not clear. In the meanwhile, a lorry and a college bus collided at Kulanada on the MC Road. Only the driver was in the bus. He sustained injuries on his leg.
