KANNUR: P P Divya’s bail plea has come with a new claim that collector Arun K Vijayan’s statement says that ADM Naveen Babu had told him that he had made a mistake. Why didn't the investigation team ask what was the mistake? Divya also argued in the plea that the government order suspending Prasanthan is valid for the bribery allegations.

Why Prasanthan's statement was not mentioned in the court. Divya also alleged that there is a planned move behind this. Divya remanded in the case related to ADM's suicide, will approach the Thalassery court today.

Divya's statement to the investigating team said that she talked about corruption at the farewell function. Didn't mean to hurt ADM. Tried to expose official corruption. Came to know about the function through the collector. Divya testified to the investigation team that the collector invited her for the function. However, it is reported that Divya did not give a clear answer to the investigation team about the bribery allegations.

The collector did not deny the statement that Naveen Babu met him after the farewell function and had told him that he had made a mistake. The collector told the media that there is a limit to say more and information is yet to come out. Not denying the statement made in the court judgment. A similar statement was given to the joint commissioner of land revenue. Collector Arun K Vijayan added that the allegations of the family should also be investigated.
