THRISSUR: BJP national president Nitin Nabin painted a lotus symbol on a wall in Ollukara, marking the start of the NDA's election campaign in Kerala. The lotus symbol was painted on the wall of Lalson Naduparambil's house at booth number 164 in Ollukkara Krishnapuram.
The national president filled in colour on the lotus sketch. After drawing the middle part of the lotus, Nitin handed over the brush to state president Rajeev Chandrasekhar. He then asked the media how the symbol turned out. District president Justin Jacob, mandal president Vipin Ainikkunt, area president Ashwani Ajayan, and booth president TK Kannan also painted on the sketch.
Booth President stayed close
Although there were senior leaders including the state president, Nitin Nabin kept Krishnapuram booth president TK Kannan, area president Ashwani Ajayan, and mandal president Vipin Ainikunnu next to him. The booth president was presented with a shawl. Former state president KV Sreedharan was honoured.
