E P Jayarajan to attend Dr Sarin’s election campaign in Palakkad 

PALAKKAD: Amidst the autobiography controversy, former LDF convener E P Jayarajan will attend the by-election meeting in Palakkad. Jayarajan will seek votes for LDF candidate Dr P Sarin in the meeting convened near the Municipal Bus Stand at 5 pm today. There were many controversies after the contents of his autobiography had surfaced the other day.

The content said the experiment of fielding independents has sometimes been successful, but there have also been times when it has failed. This remark said that when we talk about opportunistic politics, we should also talk about Sarin. This remark of EP has created a lot of confusion among the activists in Palakkad. In order to overcome this, EP is being brought to Palakkad.

Opposition leader V D Satheesan responded that there is no point in bringing EP to Palakkad. Satheesan said EP has said all that he had to say against Sarin and there is no point in correcting it. He said that there is dissatisfaction within the CPM in nominating Sarin.

Meantime, EP has publicly responded that the contents of his autobiography released by DC Books is not his. He had sent a legal notice to DC Books the other day in the controversy. EP has sent a legal notice demanding the withdrawal of parts of the autobiography released by DC Books and have asked them to apologise. EP alleged that some parts of his autobiography were released to tarnish his image. The notice said that what has come is not written by him. The notice was sent through his lawyer K Viswan.
