THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: SNDP Yogam General Secretary Vellappally Natesan advised CPM State Secretary MV Govindan not to come home and beat up the mother for being gored by a bull at the beach. The reply was to the allegation that Vellappally was taken Yogam to Hindutva politics. Vellappally told Kerala Kaumudi that MV Govindan made such accusations because he did not know about Yogam.

He would not have said that if he had learned adequately about Yogam. If the feeling behind this is the defeat in the parliamentary elections I have to ask something...Isn't there a lot of people from Thiyya Castle present in the north... Where did the party's vote go there? Didn't a good teacher contest there? Didn't the teacher lose by one hundred and fourteen thousand votes? Where did the party votes go? Where did the Thiyya vote go? Don't check the speck in your friend's eye without noticing the log in your own eye. Why didn't Pinarayi say this? Pinarayi knows. So don't watch the play without knowing the story. Tried to appease the minority. Then what happened? You lost what you had and what you wanted. All I have to say to Mash is to learn things well" - reminded Vellappally. MV Govindan had accused Vellappally of conniving with BJP and RSS to implement the Chaturvarna system in the state.
