THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Actor Prakash Raj said that he supports UDF candidate Shashi Tharoor. He responded that he has no faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's politics but has faith in Kerala. Prakash Raj was speaking at a press conference organized at Thiruvananthapuram Press Club.
'Narendra Modi is the king. Even though I am not a Congress supporter, I support Shashi Tharoor who asked questions to the king who does not like opposing voices. The best temples, mosques and churches are in Kerala but gods don't interfere in Kerala politics. That's why I prefer God's own country.
I came here to find out what Rajeev Chandrasekhar, the NDA candidate from Thiruvananthapuram who has absconded from Bengaluru, is doing. Has Rajiv Chandrasekhar talked about farmers or Manipur? Despite going to the Rajya Sabha three times from Karnataka, Rajiv Chandrasekhar has not done anything. He is contesting from Thiruvananthapuram because he did not get a seat in Karnataka. An important election is being held in the country. This is an opportunity to protect democracy and constitutional institutions," said Prakash Raj.
